Lake Hills Inn Leadership Team
Administrator – Paula Mitchell, C.N.A./N.H.A. - Paula has worked in the long term care field for 30 years. Her journey started as the Activity Director of our eldest sister facility, The Valley Inn. She loved that job for eight years. Paula then moved into our C & G management office working as accounts payable and payroll until she was promoted into the position of Chief Financial Officer for 3 of our facilities. Paula felt the urge to return to direct patient care and completed the education needed to become a licensed nursing home administrator. A move from Colorado to Globe, Arizona in June 2005 gave Paula wonderful experience as our Administrator of Copper Mountain Inn. Paula was eager to continue to be greeted by smiles and hugs from residents and was willing to relocate after Copper Mountain changed ownership. She is fulfilling an interim role as Administrator of Lake Hills Inn. “I feel blessed that they allow me to be a part of their home and of their lives”. Paula believes that laughter is the best medicine. Our facility is known for the happiness and fun that we have each day rather than focusing on the weaknesses and struggles of life. Paula is one of those hard working ranch girls (see Our History) raised on a family ranch in SW Colorado. Like her sister, Joyce Humiston, Paula believes in family values. Paula is very proud of the two sons that she raised and now of the four grandchildren that she loves dearly. Paula is also very proud of the “family” that she has the pleasure of being a part of with C & G Health Care Management sister facilities.
Administrative Assistant - Nicole Howe - When calling Lake Hills Inn people are often greeted by the warm voice of Nicole. She assists residents and families as their "banker" for personal needs accounts as well as handling the business office responsibilities. Nicole was born in Dodge City, Kansas and made her move to Lake Havasu City sunshine in 2003 from Cortez, Colorado. She is married and has one daughter. Nicole feels blessed to be in contact with our residents every day. She portrays our desire to add to the quality of life for our residents by her personal goal - to help the residents feel happy and secure.
Social Services Director – Mary Wilson, C.N.A. – Mary was born and raised in a small rural community in northeast Ohio. She moved to the Great Southwest in 2006, first to Tucson, Arizona. Since 2008, Mary, her husband and children have made Lake Havasu City their home. Mary launched into the health care field with her employment at Lake Hills Inn. We are always proud of those who complete our in-house Certified Nursing Assistant training and find their passion for working with the elderly. Mary is one of those special people. She shows our family spirit, stepping up as a C.N.A. team leader. Over the years she has worked in Medical Records, as the Assistant Dietary Director and as Social Services Assistant. Mary is ready for the leadership role of Social Services Director. As the gateway for families to learn about Lake Hills Inn, Mary takes great pride in supporting families with the difficult decisions involved with finding the best care for a loved one. She embraces our motto, Where Quality in Life is Most Important through her devotion to her job. Mary is a key part of our Lake Hills Inn family. We are pleased she wants to spend her career life with us!
Medical Records Director – Jeannie Sherman, C.N.A., Med Aide – A Lake Havasu City native, Jeannie has been a part of the Lake Hills Inn family since January 2011. Personal and professional growth is a valued part for those working in our facilities. Jeannie is a perfect example of this as she started as a Certified Nursing Assistant, moving through training to become a Medication Aide. She quickly proved her value with promotion to Medical Records Assistant in May 2012. Jeannie is perfect for the leadership role of Medical Records Director - she has continued to serve residents as C.N.A. and knows her detail oriented focus is crucial to the residents’ Quality in Life. Jeannie succeeds at the high level of collaboration with several departments at Lake Hills Inn as well as acting as liaison with the medical community that serves our residents’ needs. Jeannie and her husband, Dan are the proud parents of two young children, Eli and Hannah. Jeannie has a passion for Elder Care which shines through in all aspects of her work.
Environmental Supervisor - Jeff Collins - Lake Hills Inn is not only a loving environment, it is also a beautiful building and grounds thanks to the steadfast work of Jeff Collins. In 2008, Jeff was honored with Arizona Health Care Association's "Environmental Program Team" award. Making the move to Lake Havasu City in 1970 makes him one of the "new pioneers" of this desert oasis community. Jeff is married and has one son and two grandsons. We are pleased Jeff has made it his goal to assure Lake Hills Inn is a beautiful place for the residents to stay.
