Trinidad Inn Nursing Home Leadership Team
Administrator - Tandy Kephart, RN - It is always a good thing for our residents to have a registered nurse in the role of administrator. We are grateful for Tandy's professionalism and care. She has used her nursing skills in the long term care field since 2003. She loves the Trinidad community, having moved here in 1999. Tandy became a licensed nursing home administrator after stepping into Trinidad Inn as Administrative Assistant under our CEO, Joyce Humiston, who has set a good example for Tandy as a hands on registered nurse in this leadership role.
Director of Nursing - Sandy Gutierrez, RN - Sandy has worked hard to earn the respect of all as Director of Nursing at Trinidad Inn. She is another leader that has been a part of this facility for a long time, starting in 1999 as a Certified Nursing Assistant. In 2001, while working night shift, Sandy started classes to become a licensed nurse. She maintained her vigilance to her goal and received her Licensed Practical Nurse in 2002. Showing her determination to provide quality care, Sandy became a Registered Nurse while still working night shifts as an LPN. She successfully completed this education in 2007 and then continued working as a night shift supervisor. With the transition of ownership to C & G Health Care Management, Inc., Sandy accepted the challenge of coordination of our quarterly care plan meetings with residents and families and the important work to accurately outline the care for each resident as MDS (Minimum Data Set) Coordinator, receiving this certification in July 2011. Sandy is a tremendous advocate of our motto, working hard every day to make Trinidad Inn the place "Where Quality in Life is Most Important."
Social Services Director - Brittnee Fransua, C.N.A/B.I.S. - Even though Brittnee was born in Denver, Colorado, she claims Trinidad as her home. Attending Hoehne School from K - 12, Brittnee now holds a bachelor’s degree in Individualized Study with Medical Focus. We were blessed to have her join our Trinidad Inn team in August 2013 first as our Administrative Assistant. When the opportunity came to step into Social Services, Brittnee was happy to fulfill the role of Social Services Assistant before earning the leadership as Social Services Director. Brittnee has brought to the job her experience as a Mental Health Technician and Certified Nursing Assistant with her work at the Mental Health Behavioral Hospital in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Brittnee is the gateway for families seeking the best care for a loved one. She explains that finding her niche’ in long term care was “Unexpected, but now I know where I am supposed to be.” In 2010, Brittnee became a mother. Brittnee shared that her daughter is the “Love of my life!” Any free time this ambitious mom has is spent doing, “Anything my daughter likes to do.” We respect and admire Brittnee for her work ethic. She has proudly held nearly full time work since age 13. Brittnee’s hard work demonstrates our efforts to make Trinidad Inn the place “Where Quality in Life is Most Important.”
Environmental Director - Venice Paine - Another long time resident of the area, Venice has been employed at this facility for 28 years! Venice is certified in this specialty through Colorado Health Care Association. With her devoted staff, Venice strives to provide a safe and sanitary environment for residents and their families, staff and visitors. Venice has appreciated the leadership of C & G Healthcare Management with their efforts to enhance the environment of our home to be cheerful, bright and welcoming.
