Trinidad Inn Family Testimonials
To Whom It May Concern,
"As a family, we feel so fortunate to have found Trinidad Inn Nursing Home. The staff is friendly and excellent at their jobs. They communicate with us, help us, encourage us and care for our loved one as if she was part of their family. The atmosphere at Trinidad Inn is fun and inviting. They have an active staff that is always positive and joyful when interacting with the residents and families. The facility is bright, clean and well maintained. The housekeeping staff is the absolute best; they provide top notch cleaning and laundry services. We are so glad to be at Trinidad Inn and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a home away from home."

At Home 'Inn' Trinidad
"Our family is very grateful for the Trinidad Inn. When my father came to need help with his care, the nursing home had just changed management. The timing couldn't have been better. The new management [C & G Healthcare Management] was in the process of making improvements in the appearance and atmosphere of the facility - from 'Nursing Home' to 'Home' for many residents who lived there and those who would soon need a skilled facility. However, the more important changes came from within, which are the greater testimony of quality and care than furniture and flooring.
The staff treated my Dad with respect and dignity, and for this I am eternally grateful. Our family was received with warmth and support as well, which made our daily visits to the Inn a joy we still look forward to. The Social Work staff was very helpful with the transition into a facilitated lifestyle here. My Dad was blessed to have visits anytime with his little dog, grandchildren, family and friends. I cannot say 'thank you' enough for the way the staff and administration ministered care for my Dad with genuine compassion and interest in his life and character. From food to finances, the Trinidad Inn truly serves from the heart. This impressed my Dad greatly, as he would share his thoughts and experiences with everyone. Overall, the Inn kept us well informed, empowered my Dad in his own care decisions, and acted efficiently in getting things done.
Trinidad Inn is staffed with individuals from the local community who love the residents and enjoy providing quality care for them. Love makes all the difference and brings joy to the lives of our loved ones' in need.
The bird sanctuary was one of our favorite places to sit, share games, a special meal or just watch the sweet birdies flit about. This was located near the quiet chapel and became a place of life and peace for my Dad, who loves nature and wildlife. We also found that the activities were well organized and open to a variety of possibilities. Friends and family members are always welcome to share in the fun, games, music, movies, crafts and social events.
The new Administrator won a special place in my Dad's heart, as she took special time to listen to his heart - his needs, requests, life stories, medical concerns - she allowed my Dad to have freedom to be at home in every way possible. Because of her encouragement and insight, we were inspired to record my Dad's voice; talking about his life. Though my Dad has recently passed away, we still feel that the door is open to us any time and we continue to hear wonderful stories of how one person [my Dad] made an impression that will last a lifetime. He will be lovingly remembered in hearts of the Trinidad Inn community, where my Dad was truly blessed to be 'at Home'."

"We brought Mary to the nursing home on August 1, 2011. Carol was so nice to come down on her day off to help me fill out the paperwork required.
The nursing home had sent up their transportation driver, Robert, to pick Mary up from Parkview Hospital after a two week treatment. The nurses admitted her to her room and let her rest that afternoon. We proceeded to meet all the staff (don't ask me the names because all I can remember are faces). Mary's two daughters were here with her, Nonie and Sharin. Sharin came from California. My two daughters and son and daughter-in-law are close here also.
The staff and nurses are fabulous and they work with Mary with much concern. At this time Mary is putting her heart into it. The food is great and the nursing home is much needed."

RE: Trinidad Inn Nursing Home
"My mother, (Frances Garbo, age 100) has been a resident at the nursing home for over two years.
We are very satisfied with the residents personal care and concern. The paper work goes smoothly; the nursing care is excellent. She is pleased with the activities and loves to play cards.
We were very happy with the 100th birthday surprise and especially want to comment on the Activity Director, Nancy. She keeps Mom busy and happy.
Food service provided by the kitchen staff is fine and allows her to order from the menu. Also snacks are provided. Cookies and drinks provided gives a homelike atmosphere.
Mom is pleased with the Sunday Services (keeps her close to God).
I am up there every day and have nothing but good comments. The staff shows compassion and concern.
The floor nurses and aids give personal care, which is great.
Even the janitorial work is fine, keeping her room clean.
We in Trinidad, Colorado are fortunate to have the Trinidad Inn Nursing Home.
Thanks to Joyce and Dick (C & G Healthcare Management), Tandy (Administrator), Peggy (Director of Nursing), Amy M. (Social Services Director), and Carol R. (Care Plan Coordinator). We know that you are always there for our concerns!"
